"Oleo" is a 1954 composition by saxophonist Sonny Rollins. It is based on the same chord progression employed by George Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm", as well as several other jazz standards. This theme has a 32-bar AABA form. The melody is played only in part A, the 8-bar of part B is reserved for the creativity of the performer.

Several artists have made successful recordings or performances of this piece, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, Eric Dolphy, Lee Konitz, Joe Pass, Pat Martino, Larry Coryell, George Benson, Grant Green, Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau and others.
