Joy Spring is a 1954 composition by Clifford Brown. The title of this theme is the nickname of Laurie, his wife.

Here the student will encounter several challenges, there are some modulations, different cadences II-V and II-V-I etc. But with attention it is possible to achieve full understanding and, consequently, a fluid improvisation.
