"Meet the Flintstones", also known only as "Flintstones Theme" was composed in 1961 by Hoyt Curtin for the 1960s television series. The melody is believed to have been inspired in part of section 'B' of Sonata for piano No. 17 by Beethoven.
It is a Rhythm Changes in Bb, who already has familiarity with this harmonic construction will be able to apply their knowledge more easily.
Rhythm Changes is based on the same chord progression employed by George Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm", as well as several other jazz standards such as "Oleo" and "Eternal Triangle". This theme has a 32 bar AABA form.
This theme has already been played by several high level instrumentalists such as Kenny Burrell, George Barnes, Herb Ellis, Barney Kessel, Ray Brown etc.
This jazz standard can be found in the "Real Book vol.2" on page 100.
