E.S.P. DRUM AND BASS Backing Track Jazz - Here the musician can improvise on this important up-tempo jazz theme by Miles Davis Quintet.

"E.S.P" is a composition by tenor saxophonist Wayne Shorter released in 1965 on the album "E.S.P." the second great quintet of Miles Davis, an album that besides Shorter and Davis had Herbie Hancock (piano), Ron Carter (bass) and Tony Williams (drums).

"E.S.P" means "Extra Sensory Perception" because, according to milesdavis.com, since the arrival of Wayne Shorter, the five members of the quintet seemed to communicate by mental telepathy, which inspired the title of this song.

This jazz standard can be found in "Real Book vol.1" on page 141 and "The New Real Book vol.1" on page 90.

This backing track consists of drums and double bass. The tempo is at 250bpm.
