Bernie's Tune Backing Track - In this jam track, the instrumentalist will be able to practice improvisation on this important jazz standard.

"Bernie's Tune" is a jazz theme composed by Bernie Miller that became very popular in 1952 in the recording of saxophonist Gerry Mulligan with the participation of trumpeter Chet Baker.

It is common for this theme to be played in the key of D minor and its form is AABA with 32 measures. It has several major and minor cadences II-V-I, a factor that will generate greater comfort for more experienced jazz musicians.

This standard has already been played by great instrumentalists like Art Pepper, Sonny Stitt, Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, Tal Farlow, Mundell Lowe, Scott Hamilton, Charlie Parker, Joe Pass, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Lee Konitz and many others.

This jazz standard can be found in "Real Book vol.3" on page 24 and "The New Real Book vol. 1" on page 17.

This backing track consists of drums, double bass and guitar. The tempo is at 190bpm.
