“I Got Rhythm” is a theme composed in 1930 by George Gershwin with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, its progression, known as Rhythm Changes, became so famous that it inspired several other themes that also became jazz standards such as “Oleo” and “Eternal Triangle”. It has AABA form with 32 measures.

This theme has been performed by great artists such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Benny Carter, Roy Eldridge, Art Tatum, Coleman Hawkins, Charlie Parker, McCoy Tyner, Thelonious Monk, Red Nichols, Wynton Kelly, Sonny Stitt, Lester Young, Bing Crosby, Joe Pass, Stephane Grappelli, Django Reinhardt, Bireli Lagrene, John Pizzarelli and many others.
