Dolphin Dance DRUM AND BASS Backing Track Jazz – This jam track is aimed at more experienced improvisers as it has more sophisticated harmony.

“Dolphin Dance” is a song by Herbie Hancock released in 1965 on the album Maiden Voyage. It didn’t take long for this theme to be cataloged as an important jazz standard.

Many instrumentalists have already interpreted Dolphin Dance, among them we can highlight Jaco Pastorius, Freddie Hubbard, Chet Baker, Ahmad Jamal, Bill Evans, Kenny Garrett, Brian Bromberg and others.

This theme can be found in the “Real Book vol.1” on page 122 and in “The New Real Book vol.3” on page 108, it was this last transcription that we based ourselves on to compose this playback.

This backing track is composed of drums and bass. The tempo is 118bpm.
