“Corcovado” is a bossa nova song composed in 1960 by Antonio Carlos Jobim, also known as “Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars”.

Its lyrics in Portuguese are as follows:

“A little corner and a guitar

This bossa nova can be considered a jazz standard and can be found in the “Real Book vol.1” on page 94 and in the “Songbook Bossa Nova Almir Chediak vol.4” on page 70. It was in the latter that we based ourselves to build this backing track, since it is an author with great authority on bossa nova harmony.

This backing track is composed of drums, double bass and guitar. The tempo is 135bpm.
