“Anthropology” is a bebop composition by Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. It is a rhythm changes based on the famous theme “I Got Rhythm” by George Gershwin, which served as the foundation for several other themes such as “Eternal Triangle,” “Lester Leaps In,” “Moose The Mooche,” and “Oleo.”

Other talented artists have also performed this theme, including Bud Powell, Chris Potter, Brad Mehldau, Jimmy Raney, Fats Navarro, Roy Hargrove, Michael Brecker, Art Pepper, Don Byas, Elvin Jones, and many others.
