“Afternoon In Paris” is a jazz tune composed by pianist John Lewis in 1949. This tune follows the traditional AABA form with 32 measures. Throughout the A and B sections, the tonal center shifts from C major to Bb major and Ab major, creating a very attractive harmony for improvisation practice.
