“Out of Nowhere” is a jazz song composed in the early 1930s by Johnny Green with lyrics by Edward Heyman. It was quite successful in the voice of Bing Crosby and its recording became number one on the charts, this song was part of the soundtrack of the film “Confessions of a Co-Ed” (1931) and of Crosby’s short film “I Surrender Dear” (1931).

It became a jazz standard with masterful interpretations by Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Sonny Stitt, Don Byas, Ella Fitzgerald, Stephan Grappelli, Django Reinhardt, Coleman Hawkins, Gerry Mulligan, Benny Carter, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Tommy Dorsey, Art Tatum, Chet Baker, Benny Golson, J.J.
