You Are Too Beautiful Backing Track Jazz Ballad – A beautiful song for music students to apply their improvisation skills.

“You Are Too Beautiful” is a jazz theme composed in 1932 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart for the 1933 film “Hallelujah, I’m a Bum” directed by Lewis Milestone. Dick Haymes’ version of this song helped it become a jazz standard.

There are notable versions of this song made by Frank Sinatra, Cannonball Adderley, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, Earl Hines, Count Basie, Sonny Rollins, Warne Marsh, John Coltrane, Johnny Hartman, Eddie Higgins, Ed Bickert, Tal Farlow, Elvin Jones, Red Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and many others.

This jazz standard can be found in the “Real Book vol.1” on page 475 and in the “Real Book vol.6” on page 455.

This backing track is composed of drums, bass and piano. The tempo is 65bpm.
