“Doxy” is a jazz standard composed by Sonny Rollins in the early 1950s. Rollins recorded it with Miles Davis in 1954. This theme has 16 measures with the same chord progression as the song “Ja-Da” composed in 1918 by Bob Carleton.
This song has been covered by John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Bob Mintzer, Joe Pass, Red Mitchell, Branford Marsalis, Ray Brown, Ron Carter, Russell Malone, John Mclaughlin and many others.
This jazz standard can be found in the “Real Book vol.2” on page 79.
