“Behind Closed Doors” is a traditional blues with no defined author, recorded by Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup (1905-1974). Crudup has several songs that were recorded by Elvis Presley and many artists connected to rock and blues.

Do not confuse this blues with compositions of the same name by other artists or groups such as Charlie Rich, Matt Fishel, Peter Andre, Pop Evil, New Order, Rise Against, and others. It is unlikely that you will find another recording of this blues besides the one made by Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup.

This is a common 12-bar blues in the key of G Major. Even less experienced improvisers will find it challenging to improvise over this blues.
