Friends Chick Corea Backing Track – Backing Track of one of the compositions of Chick Corea, one of the most notable sons of modern jazz.

Chick Corea left us on February 11th at the age of 79, with more than 50 years of career and 23 Grammys won due to the great quality of his music.

Chick has played with the biggest names in jazz such as Stan Getz and Herbie Mann, along with Miles Davis, helped forge Fusion, bringing a new look to American music. He formed notable groups such as Return to Forever and the Chick Corea Elektric Band, where he played alongside great instrumentalists such as Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola, Lenny White, Bill Connors, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, John Patitucci, Frank Gambale, Eric Marienthal and Dave Weckl.

In honor of these giants, we have prepared the backing track for the song “Friends” from his album of the same name released in 1978, which featured Joe Farrell, Eddie Gómez and Steve Gadd. This album earned Chick Corea a Grammy in 1979.

This track can be found in “The New Real Book” on page 114. This backing track consists of drums, percussion, bass and piano. The time signature is 2/2 and the tempo is 94bpm.

Chick Corea left an immense legacy, he will be greatly missed.
